March 2022 - Build 1.0.6.5144

MatchUp Listware for Excel Plug-in Discontinued

Melissa DATA is discontinuing the MatchUp Web Service on 2023_0531, and therefore the Listware for Excel MatchUp plugin will be removed at that time.

Listware’s users with deduping needs should migrate to one of these two models:

1. Users who need more (matchcode, or match rule) flexibility migrate to MatchUp Object or ETL SSIS MatchUp component. These are more advanced users who wish to integrate our matching libraries into their own proprietary system.
   
   
2. Users who want the simplicity of minimal configuration (and a slightly higher record limit) migrate to Listware Online. No installation necessary. A simple file upload and downloadable output.

• Text Qualifiers are not required to upload data. However when used, only DOUBLE QUOTES or SINGLE QUOTES can be used as Text Qualifiers.


• If you use DOUBLE QUOTES or SINGLE QUOTES as a Text Qualifier, eg:'Jermaine O'neil' make sure to use that same Text Qualifier as an Escape Character eg:'Jermaine O''neil'.

The Estimated Credit Level for all Listware for Excel components has been updated to more accurately reflect credit consumption. This is not a price increase, nor does it in any way affect actual credit use.

Added the Global Email Verification service to the Listware Online portal. Due to the use of premium data, this service will require a charge of credits before the file is processed.

Effective Date: January 1st, 2016

As of January 1, 2016, users of our CCOA service must go to the Canada Post website to obtain an End User Terms of Use ID (TOUID) and register it on our website in order to continue using CCOA in the new year. Notice: Windows 10 Usage

Users attempting to uninstall Listware on Windows 10 (a successful or unsuccessful install) may experience difficulties removing via the new Settings | System | Apps & Features option. However, uninstalling via Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a Program works fine. Optionally, you can uninstall by re-running the Listware for Excel installer and selecting ‘Remove Listware for Excel.’ We are currently working with Microsoft on a resolution to this problem.

New Demographic and Property Data Now Available for Listware for Excel and Salesforce

The new Demographic properties can be found in the ‘Output Columns’ panel of the US Check & Verify component. They include:

• Date of Birth (month and year, 1 credit)
• Date of Death (month, day and year, 1 credit)
• Gender (as reported by the contact, 1 credit)
• Household Income (4 credits)
• Residence Type (owner or rental, 6 credits)
• Length of Residence (in years, 2 credits)
• Occupation (4 credits)
• Married (definitely or possibly, 2 credits)
• Children Present (yes or no, 4 credits)

The new Property properties can also be found in the ‘Output Columns’ panel. They include:

• Assessor’s Parcel Number (also known as ‘APN’)
• Owner Name
• Owner Address (street address, city, state and ZIP Code).

• Improvement Value
• Assessed Property Value
