 Colombia 

 Multiple new government data sources have been integrated to significantly strengthen identity verification coverage in Colombia. These sources support verification of National ID, Full Name and Date of Birth across several official government datasets, including national identity, tax, disciplinary records and migration-related records. This expansion improves coverage for both Colombian citizens and certain foreign resident document types, supporting more reliable identity verification for banking, fintech, compliance and digital onboarding use cases.

Watchlist Data Enhancements

We have expanded and refreshed our Watchlist data to provide broader and more up-to-date sanctions coverage. New sanctions sources have been added for Canada and Australia, strengthening the data available for screening in these regions.

Our UK sanctions coverage has also been updated and streamlined around the UK Sanctions List (UKSL), which is now the UK government’s single source for sanctions designations. This ensures our Watchlist data continues to reflect the current authoritative source for UK sanctions screening.

These enhancements help keep our Watchlist coverage aligned with evolving government sources and sanctions frameworks.

Watchlist - PEP Lookups

Melissa has implemented PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) coverage in the Watchlist feature of Personator Identity.

The new PEP search identifies individuals who are actively serving in National, State or Local governments, enhancing the depth and reliability of identity verification for compliance and risk management.
