Booth Demo Showcases DQ Tools for Oracle and PL/SQL Integration; Oracle ACEs Invited to Join Melissa Data MVP Program
Melissa Data, a leading provider of contact data quality and integration solutions, will be exhibiting at COLLABORATE 13 and demonstrating its data quality tools for Oracle – a significant advance for database administrators (DBAs) building data quality rules in procedural language SQL (PL/SQL). Melissa Data’s core data quality tools are now implemented natively in Oracle, enabling data quality as if it were a PL/SQL function and eliminating the need for any low-level integration.
The Melissa Data Oracle integration is in direct response to the needs of database administrators, and challenges the competition by reducing costs and eliminating complexity for common yet sophisticated data quality operations. Available through native connectivity, these tools represent a dramatic technical leap for Oracle DBAs who now have access to a ‘Swiss army knife’ of data quality operations such as address cleansing, email verification, record matching and de-duping, and geocoding data. These capabilities also notably include Melissa Data’s recently released international cleansing tools, enabling the scrubbing of address data from 240 countries all over the world, as well as international phone verification and geocoding. This global data cleansing ability, combined with native implementation, is essential to fast and effective Oracle implementation.
