Once the solution has been installed, a simple configuration is all that is necessary to get started with address auto-completion. Useful features can be found within solution’s configuration, such as the ability to set the minimum number of keystrokes in order to activate our service as well as limiting the number of outputs that are shown by our service.
Once the configuration is set, the service is available across all entities in which address data can be found. Simply open up an entity, such as a contact, and begin entering an address.
After the minimum number of characters is entered, our service will attempt to auto-complete the entire address according to the specified default country. If a different country is desired, the user may input the desired country into the field and the service will run according to that input. This will limit the number of keystrokes that a sales representative will have to enter and improve efficiency overall. In addition, it will prevent sales representatives from entering or misspelling an address due to a miscommunication, as only valid addresses will be auto-completed.
As the user enters more information, the auto-completion will narrow down the results further and further. Once the desired result is found, the user need only click on the result.
It is also possible to enter other information, as well in order to narrow the results down before the address auto-completion begins.
As you can see, the suggested addresses are only in the state of California.
